Tucked between The Elk Capital of the world (Atlanta) and Onaway, Michigan, Canada Creek Ranch is home to over 13,000 acres of trails, shooting ranges, campground sites, wildlife centers and several lakes.

The Ranch started in 1934, and is now home to approximately 480 part and fulltime residents, with various social and economic backgrounds*. Outside of the ranch, there are many favorite spots as well! Starting 20 miles northeast, Ocqueoc Falls is located between Onaway and Rogers City. The falls are known for the spectacular river view (a popular swimming hotspot), and cozy campground. The falls are also open during the winter time for snowshoers and cross-country skiers! 

Backtracking to the town of Onaway, Manzana's has been a family favorite for nearly 25 years. Affectionately named Northern Michigan's "Flavorite Place!", they serve lunch, dinner, pizza, beer and wine.

Located to the south in Atlanta, Freddie's Family Market is a one-stop shop for all of your needs, even for tighter budgets. Freddie's features a large grocery store, an ACE Hardware shop, a gas station in front, and regular sales that regularly beat almost all local competitors.
